  • Ciclista usando a bicicleta como mobilidade na cidade

Um novo olhar para a mobilidade urbana / A new vision for urban mobility
    Vol. 1 No. 1 (2024)

  • Last-Mile: Delivery and active mobility
    Vol. 2 No. 1 (2025)

Increasingly planned and connected cities are trying to make it easier for people to get around and for thousands of consumers to deliver the products they need. In this sense, delivery services and the cost-benefit balance are evolving. So, in “last-mile” strategies, active mobility presents itself as an interesting alternative for delivery. Active mobility is the environmentally cleanest way of moving people and goods and also the healthiest, with physical and mental benefits for those who practice it.

  • Seeking the Sustainable Urban Mobility
    Vol. 1 No. 2 (2024)

Every day, millions of people and packages go through a terrible journey to reach their desired destinations in urban centers. However, regardless of the reason, people are at the heart of the issue, as they are the ones who need to travel, whether for work, health, leisure, or education, among other activities, and they are the ones who generate a huge demand for moving packages to their homes and to supply a multitude of businesses that aim to meet human needs. The result of these movements is huge traffic jams and, worst of all, an increasingly unsustainable environmental impact. Will the electrification of the fleet solve all our problems? Or do people and companies finally need to adopt sustainable actions? Are all trips really necessary? Can we minimize our impact by changing our consumption habits and behaviour? Ultimately, improving urban mobility involves more than apps, technological innovations, and mitigating environmental effects. A revolution in our way of life is necessary, and it should not happen tomorrow, but every moment and every instant in which we live. Are you prepared to do your part?
